5 Things I need to prioritize

starting the day with a meditation

Instead of doom scrolling I need to make sure the first thing I do with my phone in the morning is a meditation. Then I can check e-mails and catch up online. I did a daily meditation a few months ago - every morning or afternoon and it was wonderful.

making time for my website

I have updated my blog more times in 11 days than in months. A reminder that I love to blog and need to make it a priority.

drinking water first thing in the morning before coffee

This is on my to-do list but wow - I do love my morning cup of filter coffee! I know I need to drink more water so starting the day with a glass and then enjoying my morning coffee is my plan going forward.

doing meal planning

I’m hopeless at this. Today is Tuesday and hubby and I have been to the grocery store twice already! I find when I don’t plan dinners we eat less healthily. I definitely want to spend more time cooking with hubby and thinking about a flexible weekly menu which includes more vegetables and lean protein.

counting my steps

I find I do so much more walking when I wear my Garmin. I enjoy watching the steps add up and it encourages me to take a lunch break and walk around.
